Complaint Duly Noted

So I got a complaint because I hadn't posted any progress on the Coop Construction...

You already saw the beginning phase:

Here it is under further labor:

And here it stands today:

Seriously??  A complaint??  Why don't we all just tell Long and Lanky Loren to 'stuff it' and get back to work with Pig Pen?  Harumph!

How about some cute puppy pictures instead?

She has a messed up grill!
The ole lady of the house!
Oh wait, that's not a puppy!  My bad!

  5. I'm serious it is a "Mole". They burrow thru the ground. I will show you the mess they make when you are here next then you will know for sure. Don't worry, I wont make you eat it...this time.

  7. Love the mole - we have so many of those little buggers out here...grrr. Did your dog get the mole? Love the puppy pictures. What cutie pies.

  8. Nope, our neighbor Al "The Mole Hunter" dude 'got' the bugger. He tracks them down. Only in the boondocks can your neighbors ride around on a golf cart with a loaded gun...gotta love it. (sorry jane -close yer eyes for that part:( But yeah, Emma has a rather toothy grin! She's fanged me more than once with a kiss!

  11. Cute, cute pups. But I wonder if even mama moles can love their offspring? Don't know what's so "off-putting" about them, but . . . (shudder!)

  13. Uh oh, PLEASE read the book A Blessing of Toads: A Gardener's Guide to Living With Nature. In it there is a chapter called On the Matter of Moles.

Moles are the great aerators of the earth and though they make tunnels and mounds those can simply be tamped down or stamped down. They eat harmful larvae and benefit the earth in so many ways. They don't eat bulbs or plants.

    I love your blog.
