My Favorite Place

This is my new favorite place...

It's where I get to sit.  Betcha it's where you get to sit a spell too!

I have contemplated taking in more water, just so I can visit more sit down occasionally.

Pig Pen said the sweetest thing to me last night before we passed out...

"Thanks babe, for making all the good food for us."

I just love him!

So I thought I would find a place for us to go away this weekend.  Someplace where we could be alone yet together for a bit.  I found this nice spot...

It's rustic in nature, sort of like us.  Don't you agree?

Who am I kidding?  He sits about as much as I do...

Hope your week is full of excess water!

  2. YES! I even bought a shower curtain with pockets on it and I keep my seed catalogs, pens and a clipboard in there - that's where I go and lock the door and do my planning... outside the door I can still hear children screaming and dogs chasing them up and down the hallway, but my door is LOCKED! :)

  3. Stella and Erin, yeah I would have to make sure the door is locked! The only 'thing' that gets in if it isn't is the silver lab...she can open the door and then it's a straight shot to the entry door to our house...not like ya want to say "C'mon in!" when they can see you on the John! And I LOVE the idea of a pocketed shower curtain! How smart is that??

  4. LOL!! But there is no way in heck that I would want to be that close to my Husband on the "resting spot". I don't even like to be on the same floor. I even bought the gel mats for the kitchen so my feet and legs wouldn't get so tired but it is not working! A few more weeks girls and we can all take a 5 day nap.

  6. Jane, I have one of those mats too and I think it needs to be about 4" thick!

MamaTea, think I'll go w/ Jane and not sit next to him during duty call. HA!

  7. AP, we have the same gel mats, we have the same Starbucks cup - maybe we are living the same lives!! But your kitchen is so much cleaner than mine, so I guess not.

  8. Ok, man I wish I had taken a picture of it last night before I finally guilted myself into picking up all my crap!!!

Couldn't see my table or countertops and I was starting to stack stuff in chairs and on the floor. Hmmm...Where are we supposed to eat???

  9. Amateurs. When I was a little kid, my grandparents had a three-holer! A big one for Grandpa, a medium size for Grandma, and a tiny one for me (my, I had a fear of sliding down into that nasty hole!) Yes, we had a Montgomery Ward catalog, too. First I'd look at the pretty pictures. They had naughty pictures of people in their *gasp* underwear! Then I'd have to wrinkle and rub the paper in my hands to soften it, then I'd....well, I'm sure you know what I did with it then! I was about six years old when they finally got indoor plumbing.

  10. Granny, that gave me visions of Goldylocks and the Three Bears! HA!! Can you believe that underwear were so brazen then...nothing is now. It's a shame, isn't it? Well, I am glad that you have indoor pluming and thank you for the great visual and even better laugh!

  12. A double holer....eeewwww! I still remember asking my Mom to come pick me up from girl scout camp because I didn't go to the bathroom for 4 days because I was afraid! I still close my eyes, hold my breath and fight the urge to look down if I am ever forced to use a porta potty!!!!! Does that surprise you?

  13. Oooh Granny! I just checked out your link for your little picture and that is down right adorable! I don't know which is cuter, you, the dress or the shoes! So we will just go with the whole package!

Jan, yer askin' for it! You shouldn't supply me with so much material...it hurts me internally to hold back! Ya WHIMP! I take it you never dropped your drawers outside then either??? I can pee faster than any guy!
